Lie is a Brazilian visual artist whose work navigates between the abstract and the pictorial, exploring multiple mediums such as drawing, sculpture, objects, murals, and installations. Her practice is rooted in contemporary issues and social concerns, using art as a tool for reflection and transformation.
With a trajectory that crosses borders, she has participated in exhibitions in significant cultural venues, including Centro Cultural Vergueiro in São Paulo, FUNARTE SP, and the Waldemar Belisário Museum in Ilhabela (where she was awarded the silver medal in the installation category), as well as international shows in Mexico, Portugal, Spain, and the United States. In 2024, she received an honorable mention at the São Paulo Art Expo for her painting Sea Without a Gate.
Early in her career, she interned in the studio of Antonio Hélio Cabral. Her experience goes beyond the studio, as she has spent years developing educational and collective projects grounded in recycling. She worked at FUNARTE SP, where she coordinated the Fun Art project with graffiti artists and children in vulnerable situations. She has curated and conceived initiatives such as Mother Earth Movement (a fruit tree planting action in downtown São Paulo) and the Fun Art Pilot Project, as well as the installation The Bamboo Grove, which brought together 15 artists at the São Sebastião Municipal Theater and was part of the city’s Sustainable Turnaround event. She also presented the intervention Urban Doors, bringing environmental messages to public space.
Currently, she is focused on painting on canvas, maintaining her experimental and socially engaged essence while also developing environmental landscaping in areas abandoned by the local government. Her art, far from being limited to the market, expresses the power of creation as an essential human language.
Lie lives simply, fully dedicated to her art, and maintains a space that hosts artist residencies, creating an environment for exchange and experimentation.

Lie é uma artista visual brasileira cuja obra transita entre o abstrato e o pictórico, explorando múltiplas linguagens como desenho, escultura, objetos, murais e instalações. Seu trabalho se ancora na contemporaneidade e nas questões sociais, utilizando a arte como ferramenta de reflexão e transformação.
Com uma trajetória que atravessa fronteiras, participou de exposições em importantes espaços culturais, como o Centro Cultural Vergueiro de São Paulo, a FUNARTE SP, o Museu Waldemar Belisário em Ilhabela (onde recebeu a medalha de prata na categoria instalação), além de mostras internacionais no México, Portugal, Espanha e Estados Unidos. Em 2024, foi reconhecida com menção honrosa na Expo Arte de São Paulo por sua pintura Mar Sem Portão.
No início de sua carreira, fez estágio no ateliê de Antonio Hélio Cabral. Sua experiência se estende para além do ateliê, desenvolvendo por anos projetos educativos e coletivos fundamentados na reciclagem. Atuou na FUNARTE SP, onde coordenou o projeto Fun Art com grafiteiros e crianças em situação de vulnerabilidade. Exerceu curadoria e idealização de projetos como o Movimento Mãe Terra (plantio de árvores frutíferas no centro de São Paulo) e o Projeto Piloto Fun Art, além da instalação O Bambuzal, que reuniu 15 artistas no Teatro Municipal de São Sebastião e integrou a Virada Sustentável na cidade. Também apresentou a intervenção Portas Urbanas, trazendo mensagens ambientais para o espaço público.
Atualmente, concentra-se na pintura sobre tela, mantendo sua essência experimental e engajada, enquanto desenvolve paisagismo ambiental em locais abandonados pela prefeitura. Sua arte, longe de se restringir ao mercado, expressa a potência da criação como linguagem essencial do ser humano.
Lie vive de forma simples, dedicando-se integralmente à sua arte e mantendo um espaço que acolhe residências artísticas, criando um ambiente propício para trocas e experimentações.
